  3RedLightFix.com

By a long shot, this was our top pick. This is the red light fix that you can see in the video above.

The directions were super easy and precise but most importantly the great use of videos really helped.

We used this one to repair an XBox 360 in less than an hour. We are not the only ones who rave about this service as other have also given positive feedback and each person was able to have their Xbox 360 back and running within an hour, no hassles.

If it doesn't work (highly unlikely!) you are entitled to a 100% Money back guarantee for 60 days but double check with them.

"I'm so happy something finally worked! I didn't want to send my xbox to Microsoft so this was a saviour!" - Jason Richards

XBOX360-Repair.com

This one was very similar to 3RedLightFix.com. It was also very easy to use.

The use of videos isn't as prominent so it's not as detailed as 3RedLightFix mentioned above.

The site states that you can fix the Xbox 360 in less than 30 minutes but it took a little longer and most people we spoke to said the same. However most did fix their Xbox's so that's not such an issue.

Again it saves you from having to ship it to Microsoft, pay  around $200 bucks and wait another couple of months to get it back. At the end of the day who cares if it takes an hour or so?!

Only draw back is that the videos are not as easy to understand as the first option. It goes through pretty much the same steps but probably could explain them a little better especially if your a complete newbie.

 What others are saying:

"Thanks for the assist. I now have an Xbox360 that has gone from a piece of junk to a games console again. Never thought it would work but was amazed..." - James

"Screw Microsoft. YOU GUYS SAVED MY LIFE. Ok not really my life but you saved me much money. I held my breath after I put the console back together... and BAM!!! Nothing but beautiful green across the board. Thank you..."

  XBOX360RedLightFix.com

This repair was a little more complicated. The videos however were superb! Customer service was good, and most users were able to fix a broken Xbox 360 using this repair guide.

However the repair guide is a little long winded and could do without some of the fluff. Something extremely simple is made to seem a little harder than it should be. This affected the Ease of Use and Speed of Repair scores.

In total it took just under 2 hours from most people who tried this, some a little more and some a little less, it just depends how good you are with your tools.

Like the others, Customer service was excellent and that is something consistent with most of these repair programs.

XBOX360-Fix.com

This one was somewhat similar to the one above, but without the high quality videos. This is a shame as the videos have been the most helpful element of the xbox fixing programs.

The repair did eventually work, but for someone who hasn't done either of the above examples, it took 3-3.5 hours on average. Although this is much better than sending your system off to Microsoft etc, its not really a viable option to the above mentioned programs.

Also customer service was a little slow, something that all the other programs had in abundance.

All in all a good guide but not really up to the level of the other 3 tested programs available.
